Смотря какая семья - если она многочисленная, то лучше все таки в доме. Плюс соседи не будут мешать )) А квартира она все-таки имеет свои недостатки.

я предпочитаю жить в городе, но в частном доме. Хотя это сейчас не всегда просто реализовать, но для меня это самый оптимальный вариант.

а мне нравится и то, и другое. Главное чтоб между супругами было хорошо все, а где жить это вопрос второстепенный

не нравится жить в частном доме, потому что нет соседей (для меня это минус) и много заморочек с ремонтом дома ((

я предпочла бы квартиру, но просторную, в идеале - двухэтажную.
